Who We Are

Our family-run business company has a long tradition in the sport of table tennis, started by my Dad Ken Alvey following his love of the sport and doing so many things on local committees from tournament organiser to league secretary to league Chairman and then Family Coach. He encouraged me Shaun Alvey back in to the sport after accidents curtailed my playing in the game for 19 years my Father got me playing in Disability Table tennis where after much coaching and playing I become National champion in class 8 and British open doubles champion on three occasions, then i took up coaching and was lucky enough to gain UKCC Level 3 qualifications the first disabled person to achieve this in the UK, from this winning coaching of the year in Paralympic year and had the honour to coach the first UK disabled team sent to Italy to Play in the World school games with Silver and Bronze coming home with the team, Then passing it on to my son Kieran who is a UKCC level 2 coach and My wife Gill is a UKCC level 1 coach and Daughter Nikki also a UKCC level one coach so when we say we are a family company we mean it...
